(A longer post. Sorry) In a normal school cycle, the period between the return from Winter Break in January until the President’s Day Holiday is one of the toughest. We usually experience the coldest temperatures of the year, rarely see the sun, and when we do, it is dark by 5:30 p.m. (Yes, I know it is getting lighter, but not soon enough for me). Optimism and Hope
As I sit here, today, on the celebration of the birth of Martin Luther King, switching between the news and the celebration that occured at the LIncoln Memorial yesterday. Trying to step back as a third person observer, I feel like we are witnessing history, the passing of the torch to a new generation, my generation and the generation that I have been able to influence over the past 24 years working in Educational Technology.
