		<description>Vinnie,

Isn&#039;t it incredible that by writing we can come together with others who share our interests?

I think you have pegged it--one of the incredible things about blogging is not only working through your own thoughts for your own personal and professional growth, but creating a way for others to get to know you and to connect with you.

When we ask students to write in more public forums, we give them the opportunity to be known better both by their peers, and to connect with others who share their passions.

The serendipity of it all continues to amaze and delight me. When we make ourselves available and our thoughts more transparent--look at the opportunities that arise!

Congrats!

		<description>Vinnie,

I don&#039;t use the word &quot;passion&quot; lightly. For me, it carries the connotation of deep and abiding commitment.

I&#039;ve alway been passionate about family ties and loyalty. Now I&#039;m also passionate about blogging.

When I blog, I find a Voice that I wasn&#039;t aware of possessing. I fulfill my girlhood dream of being a writer, even if my audience is limited and my influence on the larger world is minimal. I express thoughts and explore emotions. I have fun.

Occasionally, I connect with others; always, I reconnect with myself.
